A building that cleans the soil below it. Trees that stand watch over the river. This piece is about vigilance and responsibility, and a recognition that many witnesses to human activities don’t speak in words.

Built with willow harvested at the Beacon Food Forest, with assistance from the creative young folks at the Duwamish Valley Youth Corps.
